
I made an ube ice cream twice already this week. The first batch was too creamy that I don’t like the texture at all. The second batch was to blahh and sweet. I used the vanilla ice cream recipe I found online. I am still perfecting my ube ice cream and who knows when it’s going to happen. Ube ice cream is one of my favorite flavors back in the Philippines. I love magnolia and Selecta brands a lot. I can’t wait to pick up a jars of macapuno too next time I go to the Asian market. We’re so ready to drive down to the old house but we’re too broke to even go. I guess I will just ask a friend to buy me some goodies (utang) and let hubby pick it up on his way back. My eldest son birthday is coming very soon and I need so many things from the International market. I better start making a list and send it soon.
